Monster Cookies

These monster cookies are packed with peanut butter, oats, chocolate chips, and M&Ms. They're perfect for busy days, parties, or anytime you need a quick dessert both kids and adults will love!
Servings: 22 cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/3 cup M&Ms

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Line cookie sheets with parchment
  2. In a mixer, beat together peanut butter and butter until smooth
  3. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar and mix until combined
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in-between followed by egg yolk and vanilla
  5. Stir in oats, flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and M&M's
  7. Scoop ~3TBS for each cookie and place on cookie sheets leaving space for some spreading
  8. Bake for 10-14 minutes until edges are slightly golden and center is soft set

Tips for Best Cookies

  • Don’t over bake – centers should look slightly underdone
  • Chill dough if cookies are spreading more than you like
  • Use room temperature butter for best texture
