Soft Frosted Peanut Butter Bars

- Preheat the oven to 350℉ and prepare a sheet pan (18×13) with parchment paper
- Cream butter and peanut butter together
- Add sugars and mix well
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition
- Add vanilla and mix
- Spread flour, baking soda, and salt evenly over wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix
- Spread batter evenly in sheet pan making sure to reach all four corners. Tap the pan on the counter a few times to level the batter
- Bake for 22-27 minutes or until the center is just set and the edges are lightly golden. Avoid overbaking for the softest bars
- Cool completely in pan before frosting

- Beat the peanut butter and softened butter together until smooth and creamy
- Add vanilla and a pinch of salt
- Add powdered sugar, then gradually beat in the milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the frosting is smooth and easily spreadable
